Resanta 250 inverter household welding machine - real advantages and disadvantages

The choice of welding household appliances is huge. In this article I will talk about the Resant 250 inverter type welding machine, why this particular model is what is good and what is not.

So, a review of the household welding machine I bought for the home workshop. I do not regret the choice made, I can say about it right away. Included with the apparatus as a gift was a welder's helmet. I bought electrodes for welding separately.

Welding machine advantages Resanta 250:

  • The range of currents and applicable electrode diameters (up to 5 mm) allows you to perform welding work at a professional level (with the exception of volumes, since there are limitations in continuous operation).

  • Good protection, smooth adjustment, low weight and proper layout of the connections allows you to work in hard to reach places.

  • Excellent cable insulation, very rigid holder springs and negative terminals, reliable cooling, the ability to work at sub-zero temperatures (minus 8 - no problem).

Disadvantages:

The smooth adjustment of the current strength and the absence of divisions on the scale does not allow the exact setting of the parameter, but knocking the setting is very easy.

The switch on the rear panel is not visible during operation, and if you turn the device over, then again the hard cables interfere.

It is important to use a grounded network, which is sometimes impossible when working in a summer cottage. When working without ground, the circuit breaker switches off with incorrectly set welding currents.

Use for work

It is very convenient, hanging on the shoulder, with your left hand, slightly adjust the current strength even when the arc is ignited. This allows you to minimize the test seam and evaluate the weldable material approximately. This is especially useful when working with vertical seams.

Light weight and a belt allows you to suspend the device when working on a ladder. This is also convenient as the shoulders will remain loose.

There is protection against sticking the electrode, but the electrodes still stick from time to time. If this happens, the electrode may jump out of the holder during sudden movements, despite the stiff spring.

General remarks

A well-assembled and reliable machine that covers all the needs of a home craftsman in welding work. The quality, appearance, metal, and indeed - everything is done neatly and beautifully.

High quality workmanship

This inverter is one of those that you can advise a friend with a calm heart, because for me it has become a real friend in work! I would be glad if my review of the Resanta-250 welding machine is useful to someone. I tried to make the review as objective as possible.

And what kind of welding machines do you use in your work? Share in the comments!

I use a welder. UNION SAS-97I25B - a very convenient welding machine. I like everything! But I also read a lot of good reviews about Resanta 250.

I studied the parameters of Resanta and Daewoo for a long time. As a result, I bought an inverter Daewooy 250. The parameters are the same as on Resanta 250. I liked the digital indicator. The current is set smoothly. But the maximum was set 187A. It seems to cook well.Unlike Resanta, I liked the location of the terminals. Somewhere I read the location of the output terminals vertically is not good. Here they are located horizontally. And another cable length with a holder of 3m, and with a negative holder of 2m. The minus holder is very flimsy during the first welding burned through. Short power cable, somewhere 1.5m. The plug of the power cable is rated at 16A. I think to replace it with 32 or 40A.
